the next generation is desperately need our help

while the world is busy talking about global warming,
the next generation is screaming for help

oprah winfrey was bringing out a subject of children committing suicide for constantly being bullied and harrassed
and those kids were only 8-12years old!
one of the kid has been harrased for 8years!

what on earth is happening to them???

a cousin of mine was having trouble during her first year in senior high
she said, they need to collect money for their senior and if they couldn't meet the target, the chairman would get physical punishment
to avoid this, those kids lied to their parents or even borrowed money from others

another day, she told me that her good-looking classmate was forced to have her hair done in this particular old way during her years in high-school because she was seen dressing so cute by her senior in one of the shopping mall

she told me so many unbelievable stories of the harrassment happened at school
some of those were happening right before the teachers' eyes
no punishment was given

my jaw dropped
felt like screaming
what have we done???

children are a perfect copycat
they see what we do, and copy it perfectly
without understanding the reason nor consequences
while the one should be giving explanation is too busy saving the world from global warming

i have no idea where we should start cleaning this mess
but we wouldn't want anything bad happen to them rite?
so come on, spend more time with the children
they don't always need material thing, they do need our love and physical existance
love them...
be there for them...
take care of them and show them that you care...

children is the reason why we're all doing what we're doing today
they are our future
where their hands hold hopes for a better everything
